Objectives
At the end of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Differentiate typical imaging features of common non-traumatic pediatric emergencies.
- Formulate common complications of pathologic processes in the pediatric head and neck.
- Summarize the differential diagnoses of acute facial swelling in children.
- Explain concepts of the diagnostic work-up and treatment options for delayed, secondary bleeding from tracheostomy.
