Objectives
At the end of this activity, the participant should be able to:

• Demonstrate the use of PET/CT in the initial work up of head and neck cancer patients;
• Assess the strengths and weaknesses of PET/CT in restaging the post-operative head and neck cancer patient;
• Select common malignant conditions of the head and neck for which PET/CT is usefull both for initial staging and restaging;
• Identify common etiologies for false positive findings in the head and neck on PET/CT.
