Inland Imaging has received the designation of “Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence” by the American College of Radiology, in recognition of its quality breast-imaging program.
“We are one of only a few sites in the Northwest and currently the only site in Eastern Washington to attain this designation,” said Dr. Robert Arnett, Breast Imaging Specialized Radiologist at Inland Imaging. “This designation means our centers are MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) accredited, our stereotactic biopsy program is accredited, and our breast ultrasound and breast ultrasound-biopsy programs are all accredited by the ACR.”
Inland Imaging currently operates the area’s most comprehensive breast imaging programs throughout Spokane, Spokane Valley, and Deer Park. The network of centers is the only local provider to offer specialized breast imaging interpretations for all breast studies, resulting in a higher level of expertise and care for the patient. All of Inland Imaging screening centers utilize digital mammography equipment and are located throughout the area, making this powerful tool in breast cancer detection as convenient and comfortable as possible.
Arnett adds, “Inland Imaging offers the whole package from specialized radiologists, state-of-the-art technology, convenient locations, and skilled, compassionate staff. We have received the designation of “Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence” in recognition of the quality of the entire program.”
“We’re very proud of the hard work and dedication of all of the individuals on the breast imaging and operations team,” said Jan Robbins, Inland Imaging Mammography Manager. “We are the only practice in the region to offer Positron Emission Mammography (PEM) and are a trusted clinical leader in offering breast MRI. We are all very proud of this accomplishment. This is truly teamwork at its best.”
