Inland Imaging, the region’s leading provider of medical imaging and
technology services, announced its partnership with TROI IT, a
Spokane-based information technology services provider.
The deal, which was effective December 30, 2010, brings Inland Imaging a
ready-made IT support and maintenance system to further its business
and technology practice while lending TROI the corporate infrastructure
and stability to sustain its growth in the Northwest.
“This is a great opportunity to make both companies stronger,” says Jon
Copeland, CEO of Inland Imaging, Business and Technology. “Together we
can provide a robust set of IT related services and expand into other
markets.”
Inland Imaging’s Business and Technology division serves outsourced
radiology clients in hospitals, clinics, and private practices. As the
division took on more clients, it was positioned to grow faster than the
capacity of its software technicians, engineers, and support
specialists would best accommodate. The partnership with TROI allows
them to comfortably manage that growth.
“TROI was built on a model of strategic partnership,” says Randy Kembel, TROI president. “We
find we work best when we align with a like-minded affiliate. Pairing up
with Inland Imaging makes sense on a lot of levels, and it’s hard to
imagine a better match than our two companies.”
Though TROI provides ongoing IT support and maintenance for clients in a
variety of industries, Copeland says the firm’s growing health care
industry practice was attractive. “TROI’s people have had a good deal of
exposure in serving health care providers with appropriate IT products.
It made them that much more compatible with us.”
Kembel adds that a benefit of the partnership is the expansion of TROI’s
health care industry niche while maintaining growth in other industries
as well. “Not only will we continue to grow in the health care market,
but we’ll further our development in the broader scope of industries we
currently serve,” he says. Those industries include professional
services, utilities, and manufacturing.
TROI was formerly affiliated with LeMaster Daniels Certified Public
Accountants and Advisors but severed that partnership when the
accounting firm was acquired by Minneapolis-based LarsonAllen in
November 2010. TROI will continue to operate as a separate entity and
retain its brand identity. It will relocate its operations from the Bank
of America building to Inland Imaging Business Associates’ headquarters
at 801 South Stevens.
