Inland Imaging named Top Women's Imaging Center to Watch in 2010.

In the latest 2010 Issue of Imaging Technology News, Inland Imaging was named as one of the five “Top Women’s Imaging Centers to Watch in 2010.”

“We are proud to be recognized as one of the top women’s imaging centers in the country,” says Jan Robbins, Mammography Manager at Inland Imaging. “We serve a large and diverse set of women in our region with a comprehensive approach. To be honored nationally and to be mentioned in the same company as many of the other nominated imaging groups is a great testament to the hard work of all our staff.”

The Top Women’s Imaging Centers to Watch in 2010 identifies the most advanced and forward-thinking imaging centers across the United States. The imaging centers chosen must have met certain criteria such as having adopted new technology, participating in clinical trials, and introducing new techniques and imaging systems.

The Imaging Technology News article also identifies Inland Imaging’s breast imaging centers as being recently designated as a Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for meeting and exceeding the standards the ACR sets for Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound, and Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy. It also mentions Inland Imaging’s introduction of the region’s first Positron Emission Mammography or PEM machine, an increased access to services through the addition of two new digital mammography centers, and features Inland Imaging’s comprehensive Breast MRI and Ultrasound programs.
